After a lengthy search for an Associate Pastor that included reviewing many candidate profiles and conducting numerous phone and video-conference interviews, the Call Committee is excited to have arranged for Ms. Kinndlee Lund to visit St. Paul's from December 1 to December 4. The activities planned during her visit include a reception for her to meet congregation members on Friday, December 2, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the church parlor. Ms. Lund also will attend the 8 a.m. worship service on Sunday, December 4. Following this service, she will be in the parlor until noon for another opportunity to meet and visit with our members. She then will attend our WELCA Christmas Luncheon. During her visit, Ms. Lund will be interviewed a second time by the Call Committee, tour the church facilities, visit the Day School, and meet the church and Day School staff.

There will be ample opportunities for everyone to meet Kinndlee Lund while she is here, and the Call Committee hopes everyone will make the effort to meet her.

Kinndlee Lund is 29 years old. She grew up in a Lutheran family in North Dakota. Both of her parents are teachers. She has a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, a Master of Divinity degree from the Divinity School at the University of Chicago, and is a 2009 graduate of the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. She has worked full-time for a year as a Chaplain in a public hospital in a low income section of Chicago. She served as an intern pastor in a Lutheran congregation in a small town in Minnesota. The ELCA has approved Ms. Lund for a call and ordination.

Kinndlee has an enthusiastic desire to serve God and be a leader in ministry. She loves leading worship, teaching, working with youth, and has an extensive musical background. In her video-conference interview, she greatly impressed the Call Committee, and committee members are anxious for our congregation to meet her.
