    • Prepare altar for communion on Saturdays before 1st and 3rd Sundays
    • Celebration of Communion will occur at 8:00a.m. and 10:30 a.m. an the 1st and 3rd Sundays. There will be Communion Services on Epiphany Sunday (when January 6 falls on a Sunday), Baptism of our Lord, Transfiguration Sunday, Ash Wednesday, Christmas Day, all services on Easter, 10:30 a.m. Confirmation Sunday (which is normally the last Sunday in April), Pentecost, Trinity Sunday,Reformation Sunday, All Saints Sunday, and Christ the King Sunday. The parament stay red for both services on Confirmation Sunday. 
    • Sometimes regular communion may be changed to continuous communion because of other activities planned for the worship service. Pastors will try to give you advance notice.
    • Clean communion vessels before each service.
    • Fill vessels with the elements and place filled vessels on altar before each service. Sunday morning team fill cups for chapel service at 3:00p.m. Chapel communion regular setup is one tray of 20 chalices and placed on the side opposite the missal stand. Please note that morning communion team prepares trays for chapel communion.
    • Be present in sacristy during the service to supply altar with what is needed. As little movement as possible.
    • Cover communion trays with designated cloth, to be removed Sunday morning by the Pastor.
    • Close opening over communion credence while post communion hymn is sung.
    • Clean and store communion vessels after each service. Wash and iron soiled purificator after each service.
    • Communion trays should be wiped monthly with lightly oiled cloth. Use lemon oil on ebony during March and October.
    • Clean wine spots from kneeling cushions and carpet after each service.
    • Clean calice and place on altar in main sanctuary only. Polish chalice in April, August, and December.
    • Remove flowers from altar and place in sacristy following 10:30 service if needed.
    • NO communion setup should be done on a Friday for the following Sunday!
    • For continuous Communion: cover continuous tables with plastic covering in box on parament top shelf. The tables are to be p[laced on top chancel step to right of baptismal ont and left of pulpit as you face the altar. Communion tables will be stored in front of each chancel kneeler on right an left sides when communion is finished.
