In my 32 years of ministry, I have served parishes in Montana, Minnesota, Tyler,TX and Longview, TX. I enjoy saltwater fishing, cooking, travel and golf.

My Favorite Scripture Passage: Matthew 25:38-40
'When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply,'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Corey Heidt
corey@stpaulsbrenham.org

Director of Youth and Family Ministries

I've grown up in Sugar Land most of my life. Having received both my Bachelor and Master of Social Work from Baylor University from 2004 to 2009, I've come to call Waco a second home too. I'll be a lifelong Baylor Bear! I hope to follow the Call of Ordained ministry within the Lutheran Church in the future. I enjoy biking, climbing, kayaking, camping - anything outdoors! I also make a mean smoked bratwurst, too.
Favorite Scripture: Psalm 27: 13-14
I am sure of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
Be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.

Sherrie Winkelmann-->swinkelmann@stpaulsbrenham.org
Christian Day School Director

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Texas A&M University, taught five years in the public school system, and have been director of St. Paul's Christian Day School for 23 years.  My husband, Rob, and I have been married 29 years and have three daughters; Jill, her husband, Joshua; Jodi, her husband, Daniel; and Jan, a sophomore at the University of Texas.   We are also blessed to have a toddling granddaughter, Isabelle, and another grandchild on the way.   I enjoy reading and traveling with my family.  As a member of St. Paul's, I enjoy volunteering my time in a variety of church ministry areas and also the community.  I have a passion for family ministry and love my job!

One of my favorite Bible Verses:

 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God"  Philippians 4:6

Julie Guiberteau-->julieg@stpaulsbrenham.org

Parish Lay Associate (Volunteer)

Life Verse:  Jeremiah 29:11:   "I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.  They are plans for good, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

I was born and raised in Brenham, Texas.  I was baptized, confirmed and married here at St. Paul's.   My husband Rick and I have a daughter, Sara.  I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and worked in the computer industry at NASA before moving back to Brenham.  I am currently employed at Brenham Wholesale Grocery Co. as the Director of Programming.  About 10 years ago,  I felt a calling into the ministry.  My passion is working with the youth and over the years have been fortunate to be a part of building our Youth and Family Ministry into what it is today.  God continues to open doors for me and I am now blessed to be the Youth and Family Ministry Director here at St. Paul's.  God is Good!

St. Paul's Welcomes Julia Hansen to the Position of

                       Director of Music Ministries
Julia

I consider myself the most blessed of persons because I spend my life doing what I love most, teaching music and leading young people.  Now I am overjoyed to join the staff of St. Paul's as Director of Music Ministries, making music to the glory of God in the church setting as well.

        I am a native Texan and received my Bachelor of Music Degree from Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana.  I earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ethics from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee.  I have lived in Brenham for five years and am proud to call this community my home.

         I am enjoying my third year as Choir Director of Brenham Junior High and High School Choirs.  I have a four year old daughter Layla, who is a Bouncing Bear at St. Paul's Day School.  She is the delight of my heart.

        I don't have much spare time!  But I love Aggie football, Cub sports, the Houston Astros, spending time with family, travelling, cooking, reading, and decorating my home.  My little family is overjoyed to join the larger St. Paul's family.  May we bless this congregation as surely as it blesses us.

        Myy favorite passage of scripture is from Philippians, summarized: "Let the same mind be in you that is also in Christ Jesus...so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:5-13)
