Connection Crew
Our connection crew is a newly formed team with the purpose of providing home to those who are shut in during the COVID-19 shutdown. Volunteers are calling members to check in, picking up prescriptions, delivery groceries, and more! If you would like to volunteer to be on this team please call the church office.
Texas Ramps Project
What are YOU doing Saturday?
St. Paul's began participating in the Texas Ramps Project in the Spring of 2009. To-Date the members of the congregation, in partnership with other community organizations, have constructed over 120 ramps for area residents and service organizations.
Ramps are typically built on Saturday mornings, usually completed in 2 ½ to 3 hours. When we are not building ramps, we are assembling ramp frames at our Ramp Ministry Center at the corner of Day and College.
We average about 10 ramps per year. The cost of an average ramp is between $500 and $600. How are these costs covered? Funds come from individuals, congregations, foundations, and special grants. There is no cost to the individual receiving the ramp. Dollars raised by St. Paul’s are matched by The Texas Ramp Project, and 100% goes toward the cost of materials.
WELCA
WELCA stands for Women of the ELCA. There are several active "Circles" (Bible Study Groups) that meet monthly. In addition to that they provide food for and serve at funeral receptions. Their biggest ministry is quilts and other items for Lutheran World Relief. These include quilts, school supply kits, infant care kits, fabric kits, and healthcare kits. All of these items are distributed globally through Lutheran World Relief.

Scout Troup 742
For over 40 years St. Paul's has been the Chartered Organization sponsoring Cub Scout Pack 742 and Boy Scout Troop 742. Thanks to a wealth of dedicated adult leaders and eager youth we are proud to say that we have one of the most active and exemplary programs in scouting.
